The Cantigny Golf Academy's PGA professionals are eager to help you learn and enjoy the game. Each staff member uses proven techniques that are both effective and fun. We want our beginning students to look forward to their next clinic, and they do!

On Course Introductions
Cost: $59 per session

Level 1 -This clinic introduces such things as basic safety, etiquette, proper club selection, sportsmanship and maintaining a good pace of play. Putting, chipping and full-swing techniques also will be covered. Sessions will share time in the pratice area and on the golf course. On course experience is not required.

Session 1: Saturdays at 3-4pm - May 4, 11, 18
Session 2: Thursdays at 5:30-6:30pm - June 6, 13, 20

Level 2 -This clinic introduces specific shots needed on the golf course and when to use them. The student will learn management of the golf course with proper club selection to produce the best possible result. Proper technique will also be taught in full swing, chipping and putting to help with club selection. Sessions will share time in the practice area and on the golf course. Basic golf knowledge or previous level 1 participation is required.

Session 1: Wednesdays at 6-7pm - June 12, 19, 26
Session 2: Tuesdays at 6-7pm - July 9, 16, 23

 

Basics and Fundamentals
Cost: $59 per session

Level 1 -This clinic is perfect for players who are brand new to golf or just getting back to the game after a long layoff. The Academy professionals will provide basic instruction for full-swing and short game, and show you ways to make learning golf more fun based on the nationwide "Play Golf America" campaign.

Session 1: Tuesdays at 6-7pm - May 7, 14, 21
Session 2: Saturdays at 10-11am - June 8, 15, 22
Session 3: Thursdays at 6-7pm - July 11, 18, 25

Level 2 -This clinic will introduce short game shots and full swing techniques that will help people advance their golf skills. Sand bunkers, pitching/chipping, and full swing will be covered. Basic golf knowledge or previous level 1 participation is required.

Session 1: Tuesdays at 6-7pm - June 4, 11, 18
Session 2: Saturdays at 10-11am - July 13, 20, 27

 

Rules and Etiquette
Cost: $59 per session

Level 1 -One of the best things about golf is that players govern themselves and respect the rules of the game. But sometimes the rules can be intimidating. Participants in this clinic will learn rules and etiquette basics from a PGA professional who will utilize video, classroom discussion and on course examples.

Session 1: Thursdays at 6-7pm - May 9, 16, 23
Session 2: Wednesdays at 6-7pm - July 17, 24, 31

 

Custom Clinics
Cost: $59 per person

If the dates of our scheduled programs conflict with your plans and you have a group of 3-5 people you can form your own custom clinic. Cost: $15 per workshop

Memorial Day Golf School
Cost: $199 per person

The Cantigny Golf Academy has assembled an all-inclusive program of personal instruction directed towards every phase of your game. The program includes full-swing, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker play, course strategy and 9 holes of golf with staff professional.
