Fun Competition all Season
During the season, Cantigny offers a series of club events where our regular players—and those who keep their golf handicap at Cantigny—can participate. These events are designed to be fun and allow our golfers an opportunity to compete in a series of events all summer. Ask a Cantigny staff member how to get involved.

Two Person Spring ClassicSunday, April 7, 2024 Our annual event is a handicapped 2-person scramble. The winners' names are honored on a trophy which is proudly displayed in our clubhouse lounge. This is a great event to get your competitive juices flowing early in the golf season, so find a partner and join us for the first bragging-rights opportunity of 2024. Entry Fee: $275Tournament Information:

Friday Evening Competitive LeagueFriday, April 26 - August 16, 2024 Play is every other Friday, April 26 through August 16. Tee times are assigned each week, ranging from 4:00 pm - 5:10 pm. The Friday Evening Competitive League is a 9-hole, match play event. The league takes place every other week for a total of nine dates, and is designed to combine camaraderie, competition, and fun. A point system is kept weekly with the championship on August 16 to determine a winner. Entry Fee: $450Friday League Entry Fee is an all inclusive fee. Fee includes, a welcome gift, weekly green fees, cart fees, range balls, food buffet following golf, and end of the year prizes. Space is limited to 72 players |

Friday Women's LeagueFriday, April 26 - August 16, 2024 Play is every other Friday, April 26 through August 16. Tee times are assigned each week, ranging from 5:10 pm - 5:50 pm. May Par-Tee on the Par 3Friday, May 17, 2024 Now the adults (21+) get their turn! The acclaimed Cantigny Youth Links golf course – usually reserved for junior golfers – will instead be dedicated to the young at heart. Golfers should come with a healthy appetite and be ready for fun. Gather some friends, choose your three favorite clubs, and Cantigny will take care of the rest. Entry Fee: $150Tournament Information:

Youth Links Ladies Open PlayNeed a little work on the short game? We know a place! New for 2024, the Youth Links is offering open play for adult women this summer.
Our weekly Ladies Open Play program starts Tuesday, June 4 and runs every Tuesday through July 30. Lady golfers of all skill levels are welcome—no experience needed! This is a great opportunity to practice your wedges, chipping, pitching, and putting on our par 3 course—a wonderful little links previously open only to junior golfers.
This is also a chance to establish a weekly meet-up with your golfing friends or meet some new players who share your passion.
Ladies Open Play participants receive 9-holes per week plus a complimentary adult beverage and have the option to play an extra 9 for $5. Tee times are available starting at 6 pm and may be reserved up to two weeks in advance.

Hickory Stick ClassicSaturday, August 24, 2024 Play the game as legends once did, with Hickory golf clubs. Hickory golf is played with antique wooden-shafted clubs and a low compression golf ball. Meat-PaloozaSunday, October 27, 2024 Cantigny chefs will be on call throughout the day for this one-of-a-kind shotgun event. We’ll have chili at the turn plus grilling stations on the course.
